Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites you to explore her inner world by the food she cooks. Food is what incites curiosity. The interest grew after she stepped outside of into the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural landscape of Los Angeles. Carnitas, cavatelli and many other cuisines can be found in a single menu. It is an ever changing sensibility. What remains is her singular perspective on the future whilst looking back to the past. Scopa Italian Roots, which Lofaso created in 2013 was well-received because it was in the spirit of her Italian family heritage. Lofaso is praised for her unique interpretation of Italian cuisine. Food at Lofaso is authentic, inviting and satiating. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she never hesitated to make bold decisions to honor her instincts. She worked closely with many celebrities and rose rapidly through the ranks within Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Black Market is not constrained by a single direction, and this is exactly what we want. One course may begin with potato chips and peppers toshito. It will be followed by Korean wings, meatballs along with lobster rolls. Antonia anchors the bold range of flavors.
