Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for playing the lead role in TV series like "The West Wing, In Plain Sight and Loaded.' Apart from her TV performances, she has been known for film roles such as Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack was the daughter of an ice-cream parlor owner as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. The McCormack family does not have any connection to entertainment. Her acting career started at the age of 12 when she was a part of the stage version of 'Amahl and The Night Visitors', which was an opera for Christmas. In her early twenties when she began her stage career, it started when she performed in "Amahl as well as the Night Visitors" which was a Christmas opera. While she pursued her profession in theatre, McCormack eventually was cast in roles on films and television. McCormack has become one of Hollywood's best actors. McCormack is the wife of director/producer Michael Morris and has three children.
