
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan however, she was not interested in markets or currencies in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. This was when she had her first exposure to business news. Later, she earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. She completed a four-month internship with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. Then she came back to America and began her career in New York at Bloomberg. She later became a TV anchor. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 to be reporter. After having been a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange,' and Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She was then offered the position at Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since the year 2014. A prominent business journalists today, her main focus is global consumer news since she joined CNBC.
