
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975)[1] is an American actor director, producer, talk show host and writer. She belongs to the Barrymore acting family. She has been awarded numerous nominations and awards for awards, including the Golden Globe Award as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award. There were also nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. She was honored with an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore became famous as a child actor with her breakout performance in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost after a quite public childhood of drug and alcohol abuse. The actress appeared in several films that made it through the 1990s-2000s, including Charlie's Angels. Barrymore starred alongside Adam Sandler in three films The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Other films she has appeared in include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she also starred. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as and an Golden Globe Award. She is currently host of The Drew Barrymore Show, her talk show syndicated by a network.
